Dear parents,
As we approach the end of term, we are aware it is a busy time for everyone. Therefore, for our last week in school there will be no written homework.
Instead we would like each pupil to pick one activity from this list each day:-
- spend some time reading
- Help prepare some food
- Tidy a room at home
- Help tidy away laundry
- Load or unload the dishwasher
- Empty the bins
- Read to or play with younger siblings
- Phone an older relative
- Send a Christmas card
- …any other activity that helps out at home
We have explained all of the above to our pupils and we have asked that they would record their reading and activity each day in their homework journal. Thank you for your support in this initiative.
