Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope you all have had a lovely summer.
We are looking forward to the start of the Parish Catechetical Programme.
Parents/guardians of children who have completed Year I for First Holy Communion and Year I for Confirmation are welcome to register their children for Year II of the Programme. Please find forms attached. You can return the form to the Parish office or by email.
There will be a meeting for parents/guardians of children for First Holy Communion Year I and Year II and Confirmation Year I and Year II, in St. Oliver’s Church on Tuesday 27 September at 6:15pm.
If you know of someone who would like to register their child in Year I of the Programme please let them know about this meeting. Enrolment forms will be provided at the meeting.
You can find the calendar of dates and times for the Sacraments of First Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation on our website, www.navanparish.ie/sacraments. These dates apply ONLY for children in Year II of the Programme.

Sacramental Preparation for pupils at Ard Rí Community NS is provided through St Mary’s Parish Catechetical Programme. The programme takes place after school and is facilitated by parish volunteers, co-ordinated by Fr Sebi. Fr Sebi has asked us to circulate an application form for pupils preparing for Communion and Confirmation. Children start their preparation for Communion in 2nd Class.
There will be a meeting held before the end of the month with classes starting in October. Dates are to be confirmed shortly.
You can access the form below and we are making hard copies available through the office. Please fill in the form and return it to us. We will then deliver them to Fr Sebi directly.
