Our first day at Ard Rí CNS 2023
Well done everyone,
All our Junior Infants have had circle time, done some lovely coloring-in, eaten their lunch and played with their friends on yard. They have all been doing really well. Well done to our mums and dads for being very brave also (LOL!). Just before 12 o’clock we will introduce you all to Shelley and Ciara from our Parent Association. They have a welcome letter for you and a little present for all the children to congratulate them on their first big day at school.

Hi everyone,
I hope everyone is excited about starting school at Ard Rí CNS on Wednesday 30th August. There is not long to go now. Please read the information below. Our office is now open. If you have any questions please call (087) 1341007 or email [email protected].
If, for any reason, your child will not be coming to Ard Rí please let us know immediately.
From September 2023, schoolbooks for children in primary schools, will be provided for free. The books will be ready for your child when they start school. The total cost to parents for school year 23/24 will be €25 per child. You will receive a notification to pay your bill through Way2Pay in the coming weeks. This money will directly pay for:
• €18.20 Music Generation (28 music lessons)
• €6.80 Pupil Accident Insurance

Hi everyone,
We are looking forward to welcoming all new pupils to Ard Rí CNS for their first day of big school on Wednesday 30th of August 2023 at 10 am.
To help your family to prepare we would like to invite you and your child for a quick visit on Wednesday 17th May. The Infant classrooms will be open for you between 10am and 12midday and you are welcome to pop in together for a 15 minute visit whenever suits you between these times. Pupils joining all classes are very welcome to come along.
- We are delighted to announce we will have a Summer Camp available for incoming pupils from Monday 26th to Friday 30th June. Save the date. More info: click here

- We source all our books centrally from a local supplier. They deliver our books straight to the school. Junior Infant books will be covered, labelled and stored in the class. This year, for the first time, the government has introduced a free schoolbooks scheme for children in Primary Schools. There will still be some direct costs for parents for expenses not covered by the scheme. When the details of these costs are finalised we will send you a link to make an online payment through App- Way2Pay.
There are still a small number of places available in Junior classes at Ard Rí Community NS for September 2023. If you have a friend looking for a school place please recommend us.
